Even if the food was bad, this place would be worth the visit for its extraordinary interior which hasn't been changed an iota, since it was decorated in 1900. The art nouveau mahogany panneling, the ornate brass fittings and the beautifully painted ceramic tiles on the walls.catch the eye immediately. Right in the centre of the room there's something which looks like a confession box, which is in fact, a music box which still works today. No wonder it has been classified as a monument historique. The service is as traditional as it is freindly and the food is nothing short of excellent old-fashioned French dishes at very reasoanble prices. There is a set menu of three courses for €23, and the A la carte menu works out to around 30€. The restaurant is open every day from 12h- 1h.
